“Ilmu Irshad”, means the knowledge of guidance or direction.

AMONG THE MANY SAINTS AND FRIENDS OF ALLAH SWT, OTHER THAN THE REVEREND PROPHETS AND THE SEAL OF ALL MUHAMMAD bin ABDILLAH wa AMINA , (PEACE BE UPON HIM AND HIS HOUSEHOLD AND COMPANIONS), Allah SWT has given knowledge through inspiration and love, by their guidance in writings , honouring our beloved Rasulallah, (saaw -salallahu alaihi wa wasalam), and compilation of phrases from Al Qur’an Nur Kareem. Their knowledge provides reminders and beacons for those who seek guidance and direction, they are the wheels and tires; the pillars of Islam on Earth, after the demise of our Holy Prophet Muhammad saaw, through the lineage of the grandchildren of Rasulallah saaw, through his beloved daughter Hababah Fatimah AzZahra ra and Saidina Ali Bin Abi Talib Karamallahu Wajjah.
The ilmu or knowledge flows through the centuries being kept alive by those who consistently read the ratib and wirid (invocations), and sharing this knowledge among others who want to learn.
Syekh Abdul Qadir Jilani ra, one who redressed Islam, in his time wrote many books that have been motivational and inspiring, for me personally, having great admiration for his works and his dedication and courage as a leader , scholar and teacher. When I read his books, I feel as if I am in his presence and hear his voice bellow or in hushed gentle whispers, talking me to tears or lifting me in spirits. He has been a mentor for along time, through his writings.

The pearls of wisdom flow for many generations, up till today, when we find many teachers who have writings that help us to remain on the path towards goodness, towards the Nur of Guidance.

As I journey through my life , as a spirit in human form, having migrated many times from my birth land to the land of Indonesia, where here is where I find the guidance and motivation to become a better human, walking the path of the seeker, arriving at the port of education, where all the great teachers came and spread the words of Islam, in their hijrah(migration) for the sake of Allah SWT, the love of Rasulallah saaw, and for the light of Islam.

May we all be rightly guided on our spiritual journey as spirits in human form.
