Writing styles

Writing styles differ from one to another. These styles reflect our character. Grammar and such, shouldn't matter. It gets boring when stuff is written according to the technic of old school. We write to express not to impress. Using our own method of descriptive style, our reader enters our mind and world. How can this happen when we go"by the book" and then no one will really comprehend what the point is. There are no rules of expression when a writer is inspired and in a drowning state of thought: words jump up from every where as though voices resonant the guidance and by the time we realise it; some form of wisdom has dripped  from the pen. No one can know what it's all about unless they read and listen to the inner voices of the writer.

Postcard world

This world , is like a pop up book; unreal! Like a postcard, one day it will be folded up. Where then will we be? Every soul thinks about it's existence and journey. Every soul urges the mind to think about their existence. One day when the sky will meet the sea in the fold of His Will; and all things man made will be crushed; what is left is what He has bestowed for us; and then when that is gone and the world as we see it is flat; where will we be and what shall become of us? *foodforthought *remindertoself *positivespiritualprogrss

The command of prayers

Volume 4, Book 54, Number 429:
Narrated Malik bin Sasaa:
The Prophet said, 'While I was at the House in a state midway between sleep and wakefulness, (an angel recognized me) as the man lying between two men. A golden tray full of wisdom and belief was brought to me and my body was cut open from the throat to the lower part of the abdomen and then my abdomen was washed with Zam-zam water and (my heart was) filled with wisdom and belief. Al-Buraq, a white animal, smaller than a mule and bigger than a donkey was brought to me and I set out with Gabriel. When I reached the nearest heaven. Gabriel said to the heaven gate-keeper, 'Open the gate.' The gatekeeper asked, 'Who is it?' He said, 'Gabriel.' The gate-keeper,' Who is accompanying you?' Gabriel said, 'Muhammad.' The gate-keeper said, 'Has he been called?' Gabriel said, 'Yes.' Then it was said, 'He is welcomed. What a wonderful visit his is!' Then I met Adam and greeted him and he said, 'You are welcomed O son and a Prophet.' Then we ascended to the second heaven. It was asked, 'Who is it?' Gabriel said, 'Gabriel.' It was said, 'Who is with you?' He said, 'Muhammad' It was asked, 'Has he been sent for?' He said, 'Yes.' It was said, 'He is welcomed. What a wonderful visit his is!' Then I met Jesus and Yahya (John) who said, 'You are welcomed, O brother and a Prophet.' Then we ascended to the third heaven. It was asked, 'Who is it?' Gabriel said, 'Gabriel.' It was asked, 'Who is with you? Gabriel said, 'Muhammad.' It was asked, 'Has he been sent for?' 'Yes,' said Gabriel. 'He is welcomed. What a wonderful visit his is!' (The Prophet added:). There I met Joseph and greeted him, and he replied, 'You are welcomed, O brother and a Prophet!' Then we ascended to the 4th heaven and again the same questions and answers were exchanged as in the previous heavens. There I met Idris and greeted him. He said, 'You are welcomed O brother and Prophet.' Then we ascended to the 5th heaven and again the same questions and answers were exchanged as in previous heavens. there I met and greeted Aaron who said, 'You are welcomed O brother and a Prophet'. Then we ascended to the 6th heaven and again the same questions and answers were exchanged as in the previous heavens. There I met and greeted Moses who said, 'You are welcomed O brother and. a Prophet.' When I proceeded on, he started weeping and on being asked why he was weeping, he said, 'O Lord! Followers of this youth who was sent after me will enter Paradise in greater number than my followers.' Then we ascended to the seventh heaven and again the same questions and answers were exchanged as in the previous heavens. There I met and greeted Abraham who said, 'You are welcomed o son and a Prophet.' Then I was shown Al-Bait-al-Ma'mur (i.e. Allah's House). I asked Gabriel about it and he said, This is Al Bait-ul-Ma'mur where 70,000 angels perform prayers daily and when they leave they never return to it (but always a fresh batch comes into it daily).' Then I was shown Sidrat-ul-Muntaha (i.e. a tree in the seventh heaven) and I saw its Nabk fruits which resembled the clay jugs of Hajr (i.e. a town in Arabia), and its leaves were like the ears of elephants, and four rivers originated at its root, two of them were apparent and two were hidden. I asked Gabriel about those rivers and he said, 'The two hidden rivers are in Paradise, and the apparent ones are the Nile and the Euphrates.' Then fifty prayers were enjoined on me. I descended till I met Moses who asked me, 'What have you done?' I said, 'Fifty prayers have been enjoined on me.' He said, 'I know the people better than you, because I had the hardest experience to bring Bani Israel to obedience. Your followers cannot put up with such obligation. So, return to your Lord and request Him (to reduce the number of prayers.' I returned and requested Allah (for reduction) and He made it forty. I returned and (met Moses) and had a similar discussion, and then returned again to Allah for reduction and He made it thirty, then twenty, then ten, and then I came to Moses who repeated the same advice. Ultimately Allah reduced it to five. When I came to Moses again, he said, 'What have you done?' I said, 'Allah has made it five only.' He repeated the same advice but I said that I surrendered (to Allah's Final Order)'' Allah's Apostle was addressed by Allah, 'I have decreed My Obligation and have reduced the burden on My slaves, and I shall reward a single good deed as if it were ten good deeds.'

Laa haula wa laa quwatta illabillah

BismillahiRahmaniRahiim

Laa haula wa laa quwatta illabillah

There is no power or might except Allah.

We are weak. We make mistakes , we fall into sin, our nafs suffocates us, at low ebbs , we haven't the ability to do what we normally would or what we have been doing for years. Through anger or distraction, without proper knowledge or even with knowledge, without proper istiqomah or even with proper istiqomah, our deen will be tested, our dedication will be tested, our failure or gains lies in ... Understanding, "Laa haula "
"No other power" - without Allah's SWT intervention in times of crisis, without Allah's SWT permission and without the energy and power He gives us ( by His Mercy), we cannot come through the mishaps , gain knowledge and use the wisdom... For each test must be passed, to go up the ladder to closeness.
And understanding "Laa quwatta" is to also admit, without Allah's SWT might, we are unable to function to the best without the gifts He bestows on us....
Ilabillah , for with Allah SWT is the power and might over all creation, once, we surrender to this, while all things may befall us, as we accept this litany, these words of surrender, nothing then becomes a burden, all shifts to the Most Powerful, Most Mighty, and our lesson has been learnt, we can do what He permits, so when He loves His humble servants, the trials of hurt and pain become, the cause of realisation, then He brings us close in the folds of His Mercy. Inshaallah.

What is the meaning of this life

I once lived here,
A panoramic home, built and raised a family here, collected all sorts of my favourite things and effects. I still own it, but I had to leave it all behind... Everything I possessed dwells there, in emptiness for everyone has left. We now, live here
Where all we have is simplicity and family. No more collections and no more extravagance. Life dealt us a tough hand, we survived, learning that , it is not in the accumulation of material things that sustains happiness, but the maintainance of good relations and love together with forgiveness, that makes our lives move forward, leaving behind what is inanimate and building the bonds of relations. That is what makes a home. No matter where on earth you may dwell, life will take you where the course has been plotted, so be as a traveller and don't pack too much. The journey has many stops, transits and will end, one day.

Dedicated to this month of maulid, 1436H

For the love of the Holy Prophet (May Allah's peace and blessings be upon him and his progeny; his household and companions)SAAW

Assalamu alaikum w.r.w.b.

Rasulallah SAAW, is noble and the chosen . He is Kamil, perfect. He is the beloved of Allah SWT. Of all the Messengers with all their specialities, it is only Rasulallah SAAW that can give shafaat to the Ummah by his last doa for us on that Day. He SAAW, loves the ummah, has prayed for us before we came, and he has been sent as a mercy to mankind. He is the only Messenger that ascended and spoke with Allah SWT, even his sandals were allowed to be kept on. Whatever he touches becomes noble, whoever he loves becomes loved by Allah SWT and all creation. Even animals, that Rasulallah SAAW used, never wanted to be owned by others after serving Rasulallah SAAW. Rasulallah SAAW is Nur from Allah SWT. If not for Muhammad SAAW, Allah SWT would not have created the entire creation, and He SWT did so, so that we would know Him SWT. Whatever that has been in contact with Rasulallah SAAW never perishes, nature and all creation witness how the nobility of Rasulallah SAAW lifts the station of those that love him SAAW. Trees , rocks and stones, water , land , mountains , the clouds, all love and care for him SAAW; such that the spring water which his saliva touched, becomes fresh and sweet; a tree grows in the middle of a desert, where he SAAW once rested and it shaded him SAAW from the heat of the sun. A piece of fabric doesn't disintegrate over time for his SAAW energy stays within. The sweet smell that emerges from all he SAAW touches, lives on forever. Rasulallah SAAW was in the realm of Allah's SWT presence, a hair of his body holds immaculate nobleness, it is cool to the touch. Remember, that Rasulallah SAAW met Allah SWT in a place not even Angel Jibril AS could enter, for he would be burned to ashes, from the Light of Eminence. How royal is our Noble Prophet Muhammad SAAW. Allah humma solli ala sayyidina Muhammad wa ala alih. As all energy , his is the most powerful from amongst men, and any piece of him SAAW, that touches us, makes us noble, Inshaallah. And because of our love for him SAAW, we shall be gathered with him SAAW and be loved and protected because of him SAAW.

"Ya Rasulallah adzrikni, madad madad madad. "

Send salutations on me, but send more salutations on Friday. When you recite the salutation, your voice will reach me wherever you are. Some companions asked, ” even after your death?” The Prophet, (May Allah bless him and grant him peace) replied, “Allah has made it unlawful for the earth to decompose my body”.

[Hafidhh Ibn-al-Qayyim, Jala-ul-Afhaan page 145]

Imam Nasa’i narrates that there are specific angels who visit the earth and whose sole duties are to go to the persons who sends salutations upon the Prophet Muhammad, (May Allah bless him and grant him peace), and then to take those salutations to the Prophet Muhammad, (May Allah bless him and grant him peace)
